1. The renewal application can be filed during the 6-month period prior to the expiry date. According to Swiss trademark regulations, the renewal application may be filed during the six-month grace period after the expiry date by paying an additional fee. Failure to renew the trademark before the end of the grace period will result in the cancellation of the trademark.
2. The Swiss authorities will issue a trademark renewal approval notice about 1 week after the renewal application is submitted.
3. Electronic copy of trademark renewal approval notice will be issued.
4. Documents required for renewal application in Switzerland:
Scanned copy of simply signed POA (power of attorney).
(Neither legalization nor notarization is required. The original is not required.)
