1. The renewal application should be filed during the 6-month period prior to the expiry date. Please note that as trademark regulation of Chile, the renewal application may be filed during the six-month grace period after the expiry date by paying an additional monthly surcharge of 20%. Failure to file the renewal before the end of the grace period will result in the invalidity of the registration. After the trademark renewal application is approved, its trademark registration number and registration date will be updated.
2. Electronic certificate is issued.
3. Documents required for renewal Application in Chile: Original simply signed POA , notarization/legalization/Apostille is not required.
