1.The renewal application should be filed during the 12-month period prior to the expiry date. According to the Trademark Act of the United States, the trademark registrant shall, in every 9th to 10th year from the registration date, or a grace period of six months after the expiration of the foregoing period to file with the USPTO a Combined Declaration of Use or Excusable Nonuse and Application for Renewal.
2. After submitting the Declaration of use and renewal application to the US Patent and Trademark Office, the trademark renewal becomes effective upon approval.
3. Only electric renewal notification will be issued.
